The big lie of recycling
All my life I have thought that we could manage a better world if everybody made a little effort following the rules of recycling. Little by little we could see our politicians promoting new environmental laws for getting an less contaminated environment. However, the first time I watched the video “The story of stuff”; I began to realize that it was impossible to recycle all the rubbish that we produce. On the other hand, it is more expensive to recycle than to bury the rubbish.
Actually, Municipalities aren't obliged to recycle all their waste, only part of it. Besides, we are nowadays in the middle of one of the biggest financial crisis and Municipalities have less money than before. While hundreds of thousands of citizens are separating their rubbish at home; recycling plants are processing a very little part of it and the rest is buried.
The question for me now is: What should I do now, go on separating waste at home or put it all together in the dustbin? What would you do?

What is ESL Podcast?
What is a podcast?
A podcast is an audio file that you download from the Internet. After you download it, you can listen to it on your computer or on an MP3/portable music player (for example, an iPod or iRiver). You can subscribe to a podcast so that it is delivered to you automatically each day, just like a newspaper.
