ORAL TEST 1.
Deliver a three-minute talk based on the following questions. You can add as many
other details as you like.
• What do you like about your city/town/village?
• What are its attractions?
• What is special about it?
• Does it have any disadvantages?
• What is its population?
ORAL TEST 2.
Deliver a three-minute talk about your ambitions, intentions and plans for both the
immediate and the not so immediate future. Give reasons and as many details as
possible.

Deliver a three-minute talk about the following topic:
Most British children leave home when they are under eighteen. Are you in favour or
against this custom?

Deliver a three-minute talk based on the following prompts:
• Would you like your parents to arrange your marriage for you?
• Is it a good idea? Why / Why not?
ORAL TEST 5.
Deliver a three-minute talk about the following topic:
Everybody should learn a foreign language

Deliver a three-minute talk based on the following prompts:
• In your country, what age must people be to drink, smoke, vote?
• Do you agree with the legal age limit?
• Give arguments for and against, taking into account your personal opinion
ORAL TEST 7.
Deliver a three-minute talk about the following topic:
• In your free time, what is your favourite activity?
• Why?
• How often do you do that?
ORAL TEST 8.
Deliver a three-minute talk about these questions:
• What do tourists like doing in your country?
• Where do they go?
• What do they usually do?
• Do you know any foreigners living in your country?
• What do they like about it?
• What do they find different?
If you don’t know any foreigners, make up your answers.

Advantages and disadvantages of strict boarding schools

• Have you ever seen your favourite band live?

Don’t forget to include:

• Some important events
• Any other detail of interest

• How to make it
Give all kind of details because your teacher is a very bad cook and she may not
understand.

• What sports and games did you play when you were a child?
• How has this changed?
ORAL TEST 14.
Deliver a three-minute talk about the following topic:
Imagine you work in advertising.
• How can you sell a soft drink, such as fizzy lemon?
• What information would you give about it in the advert?
Compare it with an advertisement from TV or radio that you particularly don’t like.
